Sedation Dentistry

Dr. Rob Pate is available to talk to you about sedation dentistry. He has been doing this for years, and his patients love it. If you have been putting off dental procedures and feel this might help, make a consult appointment with him today. He is always available to answer your questions and put you at ease.

In the past, sedation dentistry has been commonly used for patients who have wisdom teeth removal, extensive procedures, dental phobia, a strong gag reflex, or a physical handicap. Today, we are pleased to offer sedation dentistry for routine dental procedures as well.

Sedation dentistry for general dentistry procedures, such as multiple fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, cosmetic procedures and periodontal gum treatments, has been well received by our patients. This is another way we exceed our patients’ expectations.

Sedation dentistry is endorsed by the American Dental Association and is an effective way to make our patients comfortable during their dental visit. Before using a sedative or anesthetic, we will ask about your medical conditions, medications, any medical treatments you are having or have had in the past.

You will receive instructions detailing what to do before as well as after your sedation dentistry. We feel it is important that you are given a chance to ask questions. Getting your questions answered is a great way to get to know you better, relieve anxiety and make you feel comfortable with the sedation process. This is our goal.
